National Anthem

This morning we will sing the Kenyan national anthem at assembly
because it's Friday. The words follow below:

Ee Mungu nguvu yetu
Ilete baraka kwetu
Haki iwe ngao na mlinzi
Natukae na undugu
Amani na uhuru
Raha tupate na ustawi.

O God of all creation
Bless this our land and nation
Justice be our shield and defender
May we dwell in unity
Peace and liberty
Plenty be found within our borders.

  1. Oh boy, I think that I would flunk this songfest. I did try to say the words out loud with all the letters pronounced, but sadly I was not able to identify the tune. LOL! Is that the same little boy previously featured who picked up a rock during this solemn event?

Wonderful and I always grin with these school video clips!

    Lots of love,

    Mom/L
